Meet Etiquette

Please ensure you arrive before the warm-up time stated for each meet.
As soon as you arrive please let the coach know. Coaches have a very short space of time in which to withdraw swimmers and anyone who has not arrived on time runs the risk of being withdrawn.
If you are running late please let your coach know ASAP to avoid being withdrawn.
If you do not plan to stay at the meet with your swimmer and have arrived late please don't leave without checking if your swimmer has been withdrawn.  
Every swimmer is given an opportunity to let their parent rep know if they cannot compete on a certain day/meet. Once you have committed to your availability please ensure that your swimmer does not withdraw unless there are exceptional circumstances. Spaces are often limited at meets and by withdrawing at a late stage you will be taking up a space which could have been used by another swimmer.  You will also be liable to pay for the swim.
